1. Listen: Carefully, attentively, peacefully. Pay attention to details and question more on what they have say to represent interest. Carefully note details of what they mention, more often than not it comes across as a teeny tiny world you do come across a few instances/common people/interests.

2. Talk about them! Talk of their interests and affiliates, what excites them. What gets them running in the morning, what bring a change in your perspective. Even a small conversationalist opens up doors to opportunities, or makes an unexpected collaboration.

3. Smile, greet and always try to remember people’s first names; The magic of being felt important takes you much further away than you can imagine and think of! Suppose meeting an acquittance who calls you out in a conference/market/event and greets you positively while addressing your first name. It strikes a good connection!
