Hi, this is small post on Direction and Speed, without any science tho. Have fun, reading.

So, imagine yourself running in a race at a godly pace probably ahead of all your friends/colleagues, but you don’t know the end point. Right after a few minutes you feel fatigue, which is natural and get into a perplexed state of mind. And you sit down and imagine what exactly was happening

and why were you running in that direction? And you are clueless. If after reading this you feel you are in a similar space and position in your life. Don’t stress. It’s okay and absolutely understandable to be in a mind frame of confusion.

In fact, if you aren’t confused I’ll say you aren’t even putting in the thought which is much worse at this stage. So, at least you are a step ahead in the process of setting your goals right.

So okay, you are confused. Likely engaged into something be it a well high paying job or a settled reputed family business all of it, or freelancing. Aspiring or well established all of them. The mind boggling bit is why are you doing it? Is this something you wanted to do? Do you enjoy it? What are you learning? What personal growth do you sense for yourself? Last and most importantly, what are your goals? Are you achieving them? Before reading further, let’s pause a minute and think are you? The purpose is to look back and just assess not the speed at which distance was covered but the Direction.

It's quite important to know and step into the right direction and even if that direction was by a surprise or accident. Coming first in the race, which you never liked to be a part of or never wanted to be in first place, um does it do you do any good to you? Not really, for a long term. Who doesn’t like the short term fame/achievements? In fact it can be very motivating and moving to aim for bigger races!

The though is to provoke a sense of direction and not feel demotivated. In my next piece, I will talk better structure to goals and evaluation.

Until next time I want you to think, evaluate and pen down your thoughts!
